This is a weird hotel. This cramped room normally costs £290, but we managed to grab it online for only £50. Oh, plus probably the £100 they're going to charge us for surfing the web on the TV...
By the way, our room number is 007.

Soup on the WebTV in our room. The batteries in the keyboard were dead, so all we had was a simple remote that allowed you to follow links and a Google start page. It took some time and a lot of imagination to get to soup.io (More > Directory > World > German > People > Weblogs > Personal blogs > E > yatil.de > Barcamp Vienna > Participants > Soup...)

Found this on the TV in our new hotel room. We're staying in London one more night.

So you're in a hotel room with your Mac laptop and your roommate's got a PC and there's one Ethernet jack. What do you do?

Soup of the day @ Mor-ish Deli, London.

This place was awesome -- they let us hang around past their closing time. Delicious pastries and wifi in a relaxed atmosphere until midnight? Hell yeah.

Web2Open

This open presentation space at FOWA isn't really working well – most of the time nobody's presenting, nobody's listening, nobody cares. I hope the situation is going to be better at Web2.0 Expo in Berlin: at least someone's actively organizing the thing there rather than just providing an undefined space.

Paul Graham talking about the Future of Startups.

In response to an audience question, he just mentioned YEurope, who are funding Soup.

Listening to John Resig talk about the future of Firefox: SVG, Canvas3D, JS2, etc. Interestingly he just favorably mentioned Helma, a server-side JavaScript web application server that was developed in Vienna.
Soup is all Rails, though :)
